Chapter History

Theta Beta began as a local chapter called Alpha Theta Chi (AΘX). In the spring of 2005, we
joined the international organization of Beta Sigma Phi. In 2009 Alpha Theta Chi disassociated with Beta Sigma Phi at the University of Michigan’s request and began the process to join an NPC organization. After a long search of finding a home, Sigma Sigma Sigma stood out to us the most and became that home we were all searching for.

On November 20th 2010, we installed as a chapter with Sigma Sigma Sigma. We installed with 35 collegiate members and 5 Alumnae Initiates. Since this day, we have become accredited with honors each year and continue to have strong bonds of sisterhood.
